FROM WASHINGTON, DC BELTWAY:

  1. Take State Route-5 South [Branch Ave] for about 13 miles.
  2. Merge onto US-301/State Route-5. Continue for 2 miles.
  3. Bear LEFT (South) onto State Route-5
  4. Keep STRAIGHT onto State Route-5 [Mattawoman Beantown Rd]. Continue for 3 miles.
  5. Turn LEFT (SouthEast) onto State Route-5 [Leonardtown Rd] and go about 8.7 miles.
  6. Turn LEFT (East) onto State Route-231 [Prince Frederick Rd] and go about 2.1 miles.
  7. Turn LEFT onto BRANDYWINE RD / MD-381.
  8. The American Legion will be the first entrance on the left.

FROM BALTIMORE, MD:

  1. Take I-95 South.
  2. Merge onto I-495/I-95 Innerloop [DC Beltway].
  3. At exit 7A, take Ramp (RIGHT) onto MD State Route-5 [Branch Ave] for about 13 miles.
  4. Merge onto US-301/State Route-5. Continue for 2 miles.
  5. Bear LEFT (South) onto State Route-5
  6. Keep STRAIGHT onto State Route-5 [Mattawoman Beantown Rd]. Continue for 3 miles.
  7. Turn LEFT (SouthEast) onto State Route-5 [Leonardtown Rd] and go about 8.7 miles.
  8. Turn LEFT (East) onto State Route-231 [Prince Frederick Rd] and go about 2.1 miles.
  9. Turn LEFT onto BRANDYWINE RD / MD-381.
  10. The American Legion will be the first entrance on the left.

  11. Take I-97 South from Baltimore, MD for 45 miles to Bowie, MD
  12. Take MD Route 301 South to Upper Marlboro, MD (17 miles)
  13. Take MD Route 4 South from State Route 301 in Upper Marlboro, MD to Prince Frederick, MD (24 miles)
  14. Turn right onto MD-231. Continue to follow MD-231 for 10.8 miles.
  15. Turn RIGHT onto BRANDYWINE RD / MD-381.
  16. The American Legion will be the first entrance on the left.

FROM ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND AND EASTERN SHORE:

  1. Take Maryland Rt. 2 South / SOLOMONS ISLAND RD for 28.5 miles.
  2. Bare left onto MD Rt. 2/4 South Solomons Island R. to Prince Frederick, MD for 5.6 miles.
  3. Turn right onto MD-231. Continue to follow MD-231 for 10.8 miles.
  4. Turn RIGHT onto BRANDYWINE RD / MD-381.
  5. The American Legion will be the first entrance on the left.

FROM NORTHERN VIRGINIA-WOODROW WILSON BRIDGE:

  1. Once into Maryland, take the first exit for Indian Head, MD (MD-210) south.
  2. Go about 9 miles and turn left onto MD Rt. 228.
  3. Follow to Waldorf, MD.
  4. Once in Waldorf, Cross State Route-301, it becomes Rt. 5 South and go about 11 miles.
  5. Turn LEFT (East) onto State Route-231 [Prince Frederick Rd] and go about 2.1 miles
  6. Turn LEFT onto BRANDYWINE RD / MD-381.
  7. The American Legion will be the first entrance on the left.

ALTERNATE ROUTES TO ALL OF THE ABOVE:

Take MD Route 4 South from the DC Beltway and follow to Prince Frederick, MD (41 miles).
